H-1 (Working Holiday) Visa is a part of the youth cultural exchange program that aims to facilitate low-cost overseas training and overseas experience.
Benefit: Work while you travel, earning part of travel expenses through short-term employement.
Eligibility: Young adults from 18 to 25 years of age or to visitors who are 30 years old or younger if they come from New Zealand, Canada, France, Germany and Ireland. US Citizens may stay for up to 1,5 years, while foreigners from other countries may stay for up to a year. Other countries who are part of the agreement for the Working Holiday Program are Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, France, US, Germany and Ireland (coming soon: the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Sweden and Taiwan)
How to apply: H-1 visa is issued by the Korean Embassy or Korea Consulate, and the required documents are:
