Jiri Mountain 지리산

This mountain extends into three provinces, Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do. It is the first national park in Korea. The mountain has its own special beauty and transforms every season. There are various hiking routes up the mountain.

“Dyeing” Yellow Earth 황토염색 체험

• This is an experience to dye cloth from the yellow earth and mud on site using natural methods.

Jirisan National Park: Hwa.eomsa 지리산 국립공원: 화엄사

Hwa.eomsa is one of the main attractions of Jirisan and is situated at Nogodan. It is one of the ten most famous temples in Korea. At Hwa.eomsa, there are many precious cultural assets. There are four national treasures including Gakhwangjoen, a three-story stone pagoda and the remarkable Gakwhangjoen Seokdeung, one of the largest existing stone lanterns in Korea. Sang.wi Village 상위 마을

This village is popular for its beautiful scenery, especially during the Sansuyu Flower Festival that lasts from late March until early April.
