Application Procedure for Foreign Students in Korea

 

Foreigners interested in pursuing a university degree in Korea need the following documents:

1. Admission application form, a copy of a high school diploma and other official transcripts.
2. Proof of your parent’s foreign citizenship, applicant and parent’s Alien Registration Card and a copy of financial sponsor’s bank account statement or proof of money exchange (must exceed USD 10, 000).
3. Financial sponsor’s employment certificate (Business Registration Certificate), Certificate of property tax, affidavit of financial support.
4. Self written letter of introduction, copy of passport and Korean efficiency test results

Upon completion of the application procedure and submission of all documents to the university, applicants will be interviewed, after which the admission decision will be made.

• Contact a Korean immigration office directly.
• Foreign students living outside Korea can contact the education office at the Korean embassy or consulate in their country. You can also be advised by the department of education in the Korean embassy.
