In South Korea, outlets for 220-volts/60 cycles are dominant, but there are some a 110-volt outlets. Be careful and ask before plugging in a 110-volt appliance. You have to purchase a converter from a hardware store to use 110-volt appliances that require high Watt usage such as irons and water-boilers.
